Unfiltered & Unapologetic with Caitlin
Unfiltered & Unapologetic blends money, nervous system regulation, faith, and cultural healing — especially for first-gen and children of immigrants who learned survival before stability.
Hosted by Caitlin Gil-Soto (MSF candidate), this is where we rewrite narratives around money, rest, boundaries, relationships, and self-worth with emotional depth, cultural context, and practical tools.
You’ll hear conversations on:
• Faith and identity
• Nervous system patterns and emotional trauma
• Money guilt, abundance, and financial healing
• Boundaries without fear
• Rest and softness as generational repair
• What it means to break cycles with compassion, not aggression
If you’re healing yourself while honoring where you come from — this podcast was made for you.

• Fe e identidad
• Patrones emocionales y trauma generacional

1. One Year Later: I Started A Podcast And Accidentally Changed My Life
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
One year ago, I published the first episode of Unfiltered & Unapologetic without knowing where it would lead.
I didn't know who would listen.
I didn't know how much I would grow.
And I definitely didn't know how much this podcast would change my life.
In this anniversary episode, I'm reflecting on the lessons, challenges, surprises, and personal growth that came from showing up consistently over the last year.
We talk about:
✨ Starting before feeling ready
✨ Overcoming stage fright and learning to be seen
✨ Why I walked away from the path to becoming a doctor
✨ How pursuing a Master's in Finance confirmed I was moving in the right direction
✨ Learning to stop running from my emotions
✨ Healing my relationship with my body, movement, and food
✨ The listener messages that impacted me the most
✨ Seeing people listen from places like Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, and Kenya
✨ Why taking breaks sometimes helped me create better content
✨ What Season 2 will look like
Most importantly, this episode is about what happens when you stop waiting to have everything figured out and start taking the next step anyway.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
We're just getting started.
