Unfiltered & Unapologetic: Sanando el dinero, la identidad y el sistema nervioso — incluso las partes que la cultura nos enseñó a ignorar.
Unfiltered & Unapologetic blends money, nervous system regulation, faith, and cultural healing — especially for first-gen and children of immigrants who learned survival before stability.
Hosted by Caitlin Gil-Soto (MSF candidate), this is where we rewrite narratives around money, rest, boundaries, relationships, and self-worth with emotional depth, cultural context, and practical tools.
You’ll hear conversations on:
• Faith and identity
• Nervous system patterns and emotional trauma
• Money guilt, abundance, and financial healing
• Boundaries without fear
• Rest and softness as generational repair
• What it means to break cycles with compassion, not aggression

18. Beyond Money: Redefining Richness and Success in Dominican Culture
Too often, when we hear “richness” or “wealth,” the first thing that comes to mind is money. But money alone has never been the whole story. Richness is peace, freedom, softness, alignment, and relationships that nourish us. In this episode, we go beyond survival mode and redefine what true abundance means for Dominicans.
Segment 1: Redefining Richness in Family Expectations
Success was taught as sacrifice. We honor our ancestors’ resilience, but ask: does that definition still serve us?
✨ Journal Prompt: Where did you first learn your definition of success, and does it still serve you?
💡 Affirmation: My peace and freedom are valid measures of success.
Segment 2: Clearing Space & Vibration
Richness isn’t only what we bring in — it’s what we release. Clutter, chaos, and gossip weigh us down. Abundance needs space to land.
✨ Journal Prompt: What clutter — physical, emotional, or relational — do I need to clear to feel lighter?
💡 Affirmation: I create spaces that nurture my peace and elevate my spirit.
Segment 3: Elevating Connections
Not every relationship deserves access. True wealth is in quality connections that uplift your spirit.
✨ Journal Prompt: Who in my life leaves me lighter, and who leaves me drained?
💡 Affirmation: I deserve connections that uplift my spirit, and I protect my peace with love and clarity.
Segment 4: Choosing Abundance Over Survival
Our parents survived so we could thrive. Abundance is faith, not fear.
✨ Journal Prompt: Where am I still choosing survival over abundance?
💡 Affirmation: I release survival mode and open myself to abundance.
Segment 5: Richness in the Body
Health is part of wealth. True richness shows in how we rest, eat, and move with intention.
✨ Journal Prompt: What does richness look like in my body — in how I eat, rest, and move?
💡 Affirmation: My health and vitality are essential parts of my richness.
Segment 6: Richness as Spiritual Flow
Abundance comes from alignment, not force. God’s timing is perfect.
✨ Journal Prompt: Where in my life am I forcing instead of flowing?
💡 Affirmation: I trust God’s timing. Abundance flows to me with ease.
Segment 7: Generational Healing
Each time we expand richness, we honor the past and create healing for the future.
✨ Journal Prompt: What definition of richness did I inherit, and what new one am I choosing to pass on?
💡 Affirmation: I honor my roots by redefining richness for future generations.
Segment 8: Richness as Freedom
True freedom is living without guilt, exhaustion, or proving yourself.
✨ Journal Prompt: If I truly saw richness as freedom, how would I live differently?
💡 Affirmation: My richness is in my freedom, peace, and joy.
Outro: Richness is more than money. It’s peace in your home, clarity in your mind, lightness in your body, and depth in your relationships. It’s rest, joy, softness, and alignment. Our generation is invited to go beyond survival and thrive.
